If you are new to network marketing then these facts may scare you. Don’t back away or hide your head in the sand…it is obvious that the techniques that you are being taught by your upline are out of date and moldy. Back in the 90s most of those ideas worked, but now with the Internet, everything has changed.

Were you told to make a “Warm List” of 100 friends and family? Have you been told to speak to anyone about your opportunity that is within 3 feet of you? Do you have to drive miles to get to those Holiday Inn Second Looks? Well it is time to put away those “old school” ways. The smart money is being made by marketers that are learning how to leverage the power of the internet to build their online businesses.

You need to transform your thinking and stop chasing your friends and family. Stop stalking strangers in shopping malls, stop buying leads & lord knows please stop cold calling and strong arming people to join your business opportunity.

I know what its like to struggle in this industry. For the last 3 years I followed the training of my upline, struggling to get anyone to sign up in my business. I live in Montana, so the pickings are very limited and once you have gone through your list of 100 (if you know that many people) you are done my friend you will be shunned. No more BBQ invites..and if you have changed opportunities more than once FAGEDDABOUTIT, you might as well have a social disease.

So I know firsthand the frustrations, struggles and questions that you have had while trying to duplicate your business through your downline. Even a popular person will struggle using these old world techniques in this new world of marketing. No one likes to chase people, put up fliers, hand out cards and the whole ball of wax…especially if after months of doing it you are not seeing results.

Keep the videos under five minutes, as people have a short attention span. Also, make them fun, interactive, and interesting so folks want to hear about your next adventure or health tip of the day. Heck, you don’t even need a video camera at first, although if you want to be a major player you’ll get one. When I first began, I was doing tutorials with only screen capture software and it was yielding some pretty amazing results. A few of my videos went viral, which just means they spread like a virus. This is, again, free advertising and desperate docs that use pay-per-click on the search engines would kill for these results. Instead, they waste there money spending in upwards of one dollar per click while my videos are getting hundreds of views per day at no charge and allowing me to dominate Google. Promote Your Website Using Online Video sites

A lot of people let search engines do all of the work for them in terms of traffic. If you have a website, you almost certainly have some content on it (at least I hope you do!). Generally speaking, this content will include articles. Your website is ranked by search engines based on this content. If your site is highly ranked by the search engines, you’ll see a lot more traffic and if your website is for a business, this means more profit for you. However, since there are simply so many sites on the web, not every site can be highly ranked. This means that you need to employ other strategies to promote your site.

One way that a growing number of websites are choosing to promote themselves is by putting content on online video websites. The massive popularity of these sites can drive a lot of traffic to your site if you choose to promote your site in this way.

Remember that people do not visit these online video websites in order to watch commercials. When creating your video, do not make it a straightforward commercial for your product or service. It is better to use this platform to inform, not to sell outright.

If you are trying to sell a product or service via your website, then the best thing to do is to create video content which showcases your product or service without merely being a commercial for it. You can give some information on your business, but keep the video as non-specific as possible and make the product your focus, not your business. Offer more information about your business only at the end of your video. You should avoid making a hard sell in the video, lest it be seen as spam.

Those who have a business to promote have the most to gain through the use of online video websites, but anyone with a site of their own can build a bigger audience by their use. Perhaps your website makes an income through Google AdSense or membership in an affiliate program of some kind; in this case, your site is probably content driven and contains a lot of articles on a particular topic. You can get more readers to your site by creating video content which is relevant to the topic of your site and giving out the URL of your site at the end of the video.

While there are many different online video websites that you can upload content to for free, if you really want to get results for your website, you should concentrate on the sites which have the greatest viewership, such as Google Video and YouTube.

Labor day is over 100 years old, yet workers are struggling more than ever. Where the heck is the celebration? This INSANITY HAS GOT TO STOP. Are you making ends meet? Are you a happy worker or did you have to work over Labor Day? Do you have the financial education that is needed to protect your family in a declining economy?

Come on, stop fooling your self and get off the tread mill that will lead you to disaster. Now is the time to build your life and celebrate Laborless Day EVERY Day. To have the freedom you seek to take time off with your family when ever you want. Holy Moly, if you could have that freedom what would you do? So let me outline some steps to help you get on your way.

Are you already trying to start a business from home? Well STOP Promoting Your Network Marketing Business Opportunity. Just Stop It. When your marketing consists mostly of throwing your business out there at every opportunity, guess what that is the fastest way to go broke. Why?

There are a few reasons to change what you are doing: My first recommendation is to not totally depend on your MLM opp because you will need 100s to make your money. I use MLM to create residual income but what can you do for the short term?

Now, how do you achieve this goal? It may not be the easiest thing to do, but you can learn how to develop the kind of reputation that will bring customers calling. What all the best-known experts in any given field have in common is that they have learned this trick.

Perhaps they aren’t the most skilled at what they actually do, but they know something else: how to brand yourself as the expert so prospects will call you. They have learned, from training or from another master in self branding, the intangibles of controlling how people see them.

In marketing, itas important to afake it until you make it.a You can become a well-known expert simply by acting like one.
